THE JOYFUL ENVIRONMENTALIST: HOW TO PRACTISE WITHOUT PREACHING

Join us for an evening with Isabel Losada, a British author, journalist and public speaker who combines humour with a serious look at her subject matter.

Her book 'The Joyful Environmentalist’ won the ‘Best Overall Book on Sustainability 2022 at The Independent.

Tickets are £5 each, please get in touch if you would like to attend but can't afford a ticket and we will assist you.
CLEAN UP AND LITTER PICK IN THE LONG LANE WOODS
Saturday 1st October 2022 - 10:00-12:00, Long Lane Woods CR0 7TE
Join us for the Clean Up and Litter Pick in the Long Lane woods – a remnant of the Great North Wood.

It’s organised by the Eco Group at St George the Martyr Shirley, in conjunction with Croydon Council. It will be our third clean up!
​
All are welcome to meet us at the Bywood Avenue entrance to the woods at 10am, finishing about 12 noon. Those coming should wear long trousers and closed in shoes and ideally bring gloves. Litter pickers and bags will be provided.
